The Alchemy Booking Process
a little run down of how our booking process works + the timeline of things :)
We're so glad you're here :)
We aim to make the entire process from booking to trial to the big day, as stress-free and calm as possible.
Our team is full of kind-hearted, patient, and loving stylists who truly love what they do for a living and want every person who sits in their chair to feel that energy.
Booking Process
Step One
First things first: If you're interested in our services + your date is available on our calendar - shoot us an inquiry via the 'contact' tab!
Our typical response time is 1-3 days! Monday-Friday.
Step Two
After we connect via email, we send over our pricing guide which goes into detail on pricing + additional information. From here we can set up a phone call if you'd prefer that over email!
If this is a good match for you and your group, we can lock in next steps!
Step Three
After we confirm our pricing + structure works for you, we can lock in the date with the retainer. The retainer is all that is needed to secure your date.
After that, the contract can be completed with final headcount of services, by DEC 1. This way you have ample time to ask your group which services they would like too!
Step Four
Trials are held from Jan-April on Fridays + Saturdays at my salon in Montgomery, NY!

Trial Process
Step One
Trial dates are selected in the fall time by the team.
Those available dates + times will be sent over to booked brides to choose from, in the order in which the weddings were booked.
Around the same time, i will check back in on any progress being made with the contract and get you booked in for a trial date if you'd like one!
Step Two
The Trial:
We spend 2 hours one on one with you to collaborate and find your perfect wedding day look. During this time we look forward to getting to know you more and hear all about your love story/the wedding process :)
Up to 2 hair styles can be trialed and unlimited makeup tweaks to find your look!
We take incredibly thorough notes for both hair and makeup to be able to repeat the same exact look, day of wedding!
Step Three
Day After Trial:
The day after the trial, i personally reach out to check and see how the hair and makeup felt for the remainder of the day!
If you have any notes at all or adjustments you'd like to make - I'll write them down and chat with the team to make sure you're thoroughly happy day of!
Step Four
Following the trial time frame, we then check back in about 1-2 months before your wedding date to confirm final details!
Leading Up To Wedding Day Process
Step One
About 1-2 months out from your wedding day, I check in to confirm all contract details are still the same. At this time if you have a timeline from your photographer or coordinator, you can send that over!
Step Two
I use all information given to create an organized + personalized hair and makeup schedule with each persons name.
Every person getting hair and makeup with us will have a designated 'appointment time' to avoid any delays + keep it flowing smoothly!
This will then get sent over to you for confirmation!
Step Three
After the hair and makeup timeline are approved, i send over a hair and makeup prep guide for the wedding day that you can share with all receiving services!
Step Four
WEDDING DAY :)
The team and i arrive on site, 15 minutes early to give ourselves ample time to set up the space and work with you and your group to create the most calm and relaxed wedding morning!!
